Panchkarma is based on the theory of Tridosh in Ayurveda. Three doshas are predominantly confined to different parts of the body and after getting vitiated they produce different ailments.To treat theses diseases Sanshodhan chikitsa is done by Panchkarma.For different doshas different procedures of Panchkarma are used.Images below shows that where these doshas are mainly confined and which Panchkarma procedure is indicated for these doshas differently.
